Risk disclosure
DupeKOL shows what happened when bots copied famous KOLs. It isn't advice, and nothing here is an offer to invest.
This is not financial advice, and nothing here is a promise of anything.
The site shows what happened, including every loss and every skipped trade. It doesn't tell you what will happen next, and it isn't a recommendation to copy, or not copy, anyone.
What can go wrong
- Copying loses money, as this site shows
- A copy bot buys after the KOL, usually at a higher price (the copy tax), pays fees on every trade, and can't always get in or out where the KOL did. So far, every bot that has traded has done far worse than the KOL it copies, and most lost nearly everything.
- Memecoins go to zero
- Memecoins routinely go to zero, sometimes within minutes. A position valued at a real sell quote today may be unsellable tomorrow if the pool is drained or the token turns out to be a scam.
- Past results don't predict future ones
- A KOL who made money on recent trades may just have been lucky. KOLs change how they trade, go quiet, or stop trading. Nothing on this site says what will happen next.
- KOLs know they can be copied
- Their wallets are public. A KOL could buy just to attract copiers and sell into them, or trade from a wallet that isn't watched here. The bots' filters catch some of this, not all of it.
- Paper results aren't real results
- The bots trade paper money. Fills are simulated from real quotes with real fees, but real trading can do worse: transactions fail, land late, or get front-run.
- The KOL figures are estimates
- Each KOL's own result counts the coins they bought from zero and sold back to zero, at the SOL they paid and received. Their own fees and any tokens moved by transfer aren't included.
- $DUPEKOL is a memecoin too
- $DUPEKOL carries every memecoin risk on its own. Holding it is not a share of any bot, gives no claim on anything, and isn't a way to invest in copy trading.
- Regulation
- Rules about crypto and copy trading differ by country and change. It's your responsibility to know what's allowed where you live.
